Information of model ZLYJ gearbox for single screw extruder

1.      Overview:

   Series model ZLYJ gearbox(Speed Reducer) is a transmission specially designed for a single screw extruder, in which there are high precision hardend gears and thrust block. It has features that all the gears and axis are made of high strength alloy steel. All the gears are made by carburization process、quenching process and tooth grinding process. The gear precision is up to grade 6 specified in standard GB10095-888. The hardness of gear surface is HRC54~62. At the front end of hollow input axis,  there is overspecification thrust bearing that will bear an axial thrust while the screw is working. All the other standard components, such as the bearings and the oil seals are assorted with well-know brands inChina.

   The gearbox made by us has now achieved an international standard, its volume is small, compact, but the carrying capacity is high, transmission is stable, noise is low, and efficiency is high, ect.

2.      Gear Material：20CrMnTi，same as 20MnCrTi4 in Germany

 2.1 Chemical Composition： 

C 0.17~0.23 , Si 0.17~0.23 , Mn 0.80~1.10, Cr 1.10~1.13 , Ti 0.04~0.10

        2.2 Mechanical Property:

Tensile Strength σb =1080MPa ,    

Yield Strength σs =850MPa ,

Elongation δ5= 10% ,     

Fracture Surface Shrinkage ψ= 45% ,

 2.3 Character and Use：

              As a carburized parts, the gear have good wear-resistant and bending strength after carburizing and quenching processes, together with good low temperature impact toughness, it has been widely used in car and tractor industry. When its cross section is under 30mm, it is the machine part which can undertake high-speed middle or even heavy load impact and and any kind of friction.

3.      Configuration of Thrust Bearing：

※ When the spec is bigger than model ZJYJ-250 above, usually the water oil cooler system is outside(Please check the picture B and C shows above), and for other smaller, the system is inside(Please check the picture A shows above), and a set of copper pipe to be used.

※ If one customer want to get one kind of gearbox for a single extruder, first we have to learn all the info as shows below normally, then we could have a choice of the gearbox model and then to quote our price.

1、How much the power has to be transmitted?

2、What about the speed ratio? That means what about the motor output speed and what about the screw speed required?

3、What about the screw outer diameter?
