Based on this concept, the main configuration features of our COEX series spiral ceramic (Membrane) extruder are as follows:
1. Power system:The high torque variable frequency gear speed regulatingmotors onupper-stage and lower-stage extruders are both equipped with high-end cooling devices,with featuresofcompact design and space saving, encoder integration on the motor fan for easy setting, a perfect braking concept, high motor torque capacity, stability and reliability, and long service life;
2. Torque distribution system: The radial bearings of the designed screw torque distribution box are all made of Japanese NSK brand, the gears are high-speed heavy-duty hardened tooth surface type, and the gear shaft manufacturing material is 20CrNi2MOA, with a controlled hardness of HRC58~62;
3. Feeding system: A martensitic stainless steel twin-screw forced feeding structure that can resist the corrosion of high moisture content inrawmaterials;
4. Double-stagebarrels:External circulating water cooling and temperature control, internal replaceable wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant stainless steel lines inside themodularbarrels;
5. Double-stage screws: Onthe screwdifferent functional areas, there are different screw elements made from different stainless steel with its special hardening ways,for getting extremely wear-resistant and corrosion-resistantfeature,and meanwhile balancing the manufacturing cost of these threaded components to achieve excellent cost-effectiveness. Inside the lower-stage screw there is a cooling system for the soft water circulation, to enhance strict temperature control of extruded materials before molding;

Temperature control system:Adopt a wind-cooled dual-system chiller with compressor mainly imported from Europe, America and Japan, Danfoss and American Eco throttle components, as well as high-efficiency evaporator and condenser,the compressor usedto cool the water at room temperature to a set temperature forcefully, in order to ultimately control the molding temperature of the product by controlling the temperature of each barrel and screw module;
8. Electrical control system: Use a high-end, high-stability and reliable touch screen with a 10-inch window-type display made in China+PLC programmable logic controllerhost machine,The system is precisely controlled to achieve PID tuning linkage control of the double-stage extruder from the main motor of the upper stage extruder to the vacuum pump to the main motor of the lower stage extruder. The operation control function and main configuration of the double-stageextruder control system are as follows:
1)Based on the upper-stage screw speed set on the touch screen, the PLC programmable logic controller controls the frequency converter to drive the upper-stage main motor, achieving interlocking power control for the upper-stage machine;
2)Based on the lower-stage screw speed set on the touch screen, the PLC programmable logic controller controls the frequency converter to drive the lower-stage main motor, achieving interlocking power control for the lower-stage machine;
3)The electrical components of the control cabinet, including contactors, air switches, and solid-state relays, are all made by domestic high-end brands, pursuing stability and reliability of the control system. At the same time, the design has extruder under-voltage protection and warning, pressure protection and warning functions, and protection and warning functions for the working temperature set by the control cabinet itself.
